Hello everyone, it's Roberta and I'm writing from Monterrey... this is my second time writing the WTA's blog and I'm very happy to do this!!!

I arrived to Monterrey on Friday night. I was at home in Italy for practice and it was so cold!!!!! Here it's better :) I went from Palermo to Rome, then Rome to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Monterrey. What a trip - it was so long! It was 11 hours to get to Atlanta, then we stopped for four hours there, and after three and a half more hours I was in Monterrey... and now I have seven hours of jet lag!

It's a great tournament here. The organization is great and the food is great too!!! ;) Tonight I played my first match against Coco Vandeweghe. It was a tough match and she played well - she is so strong and has such a good serve. The court is really fast too. But I won, 75 75, and next round I will play against Bratchikova - I've never played against her. But I don't play that match tomorrow, because tomorrow I just have doubles with my best friend Sara (Cichi)!!!

I just finished my press conference and everything and now I'm going to the hotel. I'm a little bit tired, I need to rest. I'm not so young anymore... two days ago was my birthday, 29 years!!! Oh mamma mia!!!

Ciao ciao, see you tomorrow!
